Users of engage can run experiments with any type of media allowing you to see which text, button, image or video works best and which should be avoided.

Audience based

Experiments can be run against specific audiences allowing you to identify which contents suits which audience. It may be that the blue button suits visitors from one country while the grey suits visitors from another. 

Engage will identify this and then enable you to serve the correct button on an ongoing basis.

Comprehensive reporting

As you would expect, given that Engage is the sister product of the Explore analytics platform, comprehensive reporting is included, showing both click rates and if available the revenue generated by each variant tested.

Select and optimise

Once Engage has identified the best solution for the selected audience you can convert the experiment into an ongoing personalisation campaign. Engage can also be set to auto-optimise in which case it runs to an initial conclusion and then automatically converts itself into an auto-optimising campaign which rechecks the validity of the conclusion and re-optimises the site content on an ongoing basis.
